We have represented various companies in antitrust fine proceedings as well as in subsequent litigation. We further assist our clients in drafting agreements with competitors or within the supply chain.
We also specialise in advice on competition infringements, such as trademark and product labelling infringements, copyright infringements or unlawful advertising.
Our intellectual property experts advise on the acquisition, registration, administration and sale of national and international trademarks as well as other trademark rights. Their field of activity further includes the drafting and negotiating of licence and know-how agreements.
Based on our assessment of the individual risk factors, we develop a tailor-made prevention system and support our clients in the organisational implementation of the required measures.
In the event of a suspected breach, we not only help to clarify the facts, and identify possible responses. We also develop the necessary remedial steps and take on representation in and out of court before the relevant authorities and towards any third party.
Drawing up, reviewing and negotiating national and international contracts, such as sale and purchase, quality assurance, commercial agency and authorised dealer agreements, cooperation agreements and agreements on the transfer of know-how or licences, are our core competencies.
In this context, we also advise and represent our clients in enforcing or defending contractual claims, whether against domestic or foreign contractual partners. We therefore offer in-depth knowledge of the relevant European law and international agreements, such as the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
We advise and assist companies in all matters of corporate law - from the development of a corporate charter and the further development or restructuring of the company to all aspects of corporate succession.
Our corporate experts are able to help in particular with the formation of personal companies and corporations, acquisition and sale of companies, structuring and restructuring, preparation and conduct of shareholders' meetings, legal liability of members of the organization as well as liquidation and redevelopment.
We specialise in European antidumping law, especially in the area of defence against antidumping measures. We have regularly succeeded in obtaining the remission or reimbursement of antidumping duties. Our experience and contacts with the customs authorities have often allowed us to clarify complex tariff and origin issues swiftly.
We further advise exporting companies on all issues arising from foreign trade law, e.g. the Dual Use Regulation. We have particular experience in dealing with European and US sanctions and advise and represent our clients before the relevant authorities.

We advise and represent national and international companies on all collective and individual employment law issues. In many cases, we advise our clients’ management on a daily basis.
We specialise in drafting collective agreements such as works agreements and social plans as well as drafting employment concepts in connection with corporate acquisitions, restructuring and transfers of ownerships. Further areas of advice include corporate pension plans and the designing of work and service contracts.
We draft and adapt "tailor-made" general terms and conditions for both traditional commercial business and online trading in German, English or French language. In particular, we have many years of experience in drafting and revising general terms and conditions for stakeholders of international steel trade.
Beyond that, we regularly provide our clients with training in GTC law, which is of particular importance under German law.
We advise Brazilian companies on their market entry in Germany and all subsequent legal issues. Our Portuguese speaking experts help with the establishment of companies, distribution contracting, IP related matters and all questions regarding data protection, labour law and tax law.
We further assist German companies in their business relations in Brazil, in particular when it comes to questions regarding the German Supply Chain Act and general contracting.
Court disputes take up a lot of time and may stall corporate decision-making. We therefore generally do our utmost to reach a settlement in the interests of our clients through out-of-court negotiations.
Where a court dispute is unavoidable, we of-fer vast experience in dealing with courts, arbitrations and the applicable procedural law. In order to ensure an effective representation in proceedings before courts outside Germany, we have been cooperating for many years with experienced attorneys from our networks → EUROJURIS and → IAPL.
We advise and represent our clients with making claims or defending against product liability claims, in particular claims for damages and insurance claims.
In liability matters relating to the manufacture, supply or processing of steel, our clients benefit from our firm's almost 50 years of experience in this field. Our cooperation with experienced material experts enables us to accurately assess complex technical issues.
Our experience spans advising domestic and foreign companies on product safety. We help our clients to comply with the applicable safety and environmental requirements regarding product distribution.
Our product safety experts further provide support in facing issues with relevant public authorities and / or competitors.
We have been advising well-known real estate companies. In this context, we have been in charge of debt collection for one of the major real estate and service providers in Germany.
We advise our clients in particular on the establishment and securing of contracts, the acquisition and sale of real estate, and the termination and settlement of tenancies.
We advise on all tax matters, in particular with regard to the establishment, acquisition and restructuring of companies as well as corporate succession. We further represent our clients in tax proceedings and corporate tax audits.
We also help with the transfer of company assets, advising in particular on the establishment of wills and inheritance contracts. Following the succession, we help heirs and other stakeholders in asserting their relevant claims and / or in concluding respective settlement agreements.
